Comments   "Nyo, nyo, nyo!" This has got to be one of the most strangely interesting anime I have ever seen. Although it had nothing to do with drama and realistic themes, I thought that this series was *very* funny and enjoyable. All the characters were very cute (especially Puchiko-chan!) and at the same time extremely amusing. The animation goes perfectly with the show, emphasizing on the extremely funny and "dramatic" scenes. Character development was not as good, but not entirely necessary for this comic anime. I thought it was almost as similar as Adventures of the Mini-Goddesses, though perhaps Di Gi Charat is a bit more insane and (ahem) gross. But don't get me wrong, the gross scenes aren't too offensive. They're actually quite funny! This show is for anybody who likes...well, anime! It's perfect for those who aren't necessarily into the drama and action type anime. Di Gi Charat should not be skipped. egads, this is cute.

we've got catgirls, we've got bunnygirls, and they are all dressed in cute frilly outfits that no one any less cute then them could look halfway decent in. add the antics, the minor characters, and the finger people, and you have a messed-up, yet strangely CUTE show.

the artistry is very good and extremely... cute. the eyes are especially nice-looking, and the characters seem to be super-deformed when they really aren't. the backgrounds are simple, and the people surrounding the store are just... finger-shaped with faces. therefore, most of the detail is put onto the main characters.

the characters are decently developed. however, as with the art, all the detail is put into the main characters. i especially like digiko and her rival, rabi-en-rose.

the story's a bit hard to follow, which is usually the unfortunately by-product of trying to create spastic anime. of course, this doesn't really hurt the show, as...

... the plot's really only there to keep the show moving. the characters and their interactions are mainly what the show's about. sure, the plot does have its moments, but the characters still come in first priority.

lastly, the show comes together well. the offbeat characters and spastic humor pull together well and create a nicely enjoyable anime.

the two things you must take into consideration are: you must like cute, and you must like the main characters. if you don't, you probably won't enjoy this. but, if you are a fan of c
