"Love Anime, for the sake of Loving Anime"

Yatsura, Rurouni Kenshin, 3x3 Eyes, Dragon Ball Z, Kodomo No Omocha, Slayers, and Yu Yu Hakusho Favorite Character(s): Enishi Yukishiro(Kenshin), Yakumo(3x3 Eyes), Zelgadis(Slayers), Sniper, Youko, Hiei, and Botan (Yu Yu Hakusho), Akito Hayama(Kodomo No Omocha), Kage(Suikoden) Favorite Style(s): Action particulary Martial Arts, Romance, Comedy, and Fantasy. Just basically any show where I can get a kick off of it, or it somehow leaves a idea, take Rurouni Kenshin after the Shishio fight. Least Favorite Style(s): Mecha, Mind-less Action, Super-Violence, and Boring ones(or course) Favorite Format(s): I like a medium lengthed interesting Plot, particulary 16 episodes are good for me, like Yu Yu Hakusho. After all a Movie is too short to get a really good plot, and too many episodes just takes too much time. |
I've
been pretty much a Anime Fan, for a long time. I saw my first episode of
Dragonball, now this is the original version not the english version. I
fell out for a while, but got back after, my 7th grade, after watching
Ranma "An Akane to Remember". Now after this, I was back for
good. I than found out about Fansubs, when I first when to an Anime screening,
and they showed Kodomo No Omocha. I remember how much I wanted to get a
copy of it. So I e-mailed the guy who was distributing around my area,
and thus was introduced to Fansubbing.
I am currently 18 Years old, my interests are Graphic Communications, Art, and Music. My Hobbies include Skateboarding, Drawing, and Creative writing, though a good conversation can be fun.
I wouldn't exactly call myself an Otaku, I just do stuff like, sing along to Anime themesongs, Hell I can sing along to every song in Urusei Yatsura, Rurouni Kenshin, Ranma 1/2, and Kodomo No Omocha. I can name almost everything about Anime just random facts. I can recognize a Seiyuu's voice just by hearing it, and I can name all characters in an Anime series(I wouldn't call that an Otaku, would you?). My prerequisites for Anime is pretty weird, I have to hear the soundtrack for it first, like Rurouni Kenshin and Kodomo No Omocha I got because I loved the soundtrack for it. Or I have to have seen the Manga for it, such as X/1999. And Finally it has to be cool, like Slayers, Maze, or Cowboy Bebop. I am mainly sympathetic towards Villains. Villains are my favorite Characters, you can tell a whole lot about a story just by the Villain in it. Take for example Jo Jo's Bizzare Adventure, Dio was the best Villain because he was so confident and funny. Villains are just cool.
