Hello everyone. I'm from California and live in the Bay Area. I was first introduced to anime when I downloaded some Ranma from the net. Afterwards, I download thirteen more Ranma dubbed episodes. However, I was first interested in fan subs when a friend let me watch the whole Escaflowne series on tape. Eversince, I have been watching fansubbed anime. I'll say right now that I love all anime, but extremely hate and despise those that are over done. What I mean by overdone anime is that the people who make the anime have turned into people craving for money rather than putting effort into making a meaningful plot. For example, Sailor Moon has somewhere around two hundred episodes. The first one or two seasons were good, but afterwards it really did not catch my attention anymore. And as for Pokemon, that stuff barely looks like anime at all. Personally, I think that series should not be even considered anime just because it was made in Japan. The anime that I like are the types that either make me laugh, have meaning in them, or are thought-provoking. For example, series like Tenchi Muyo, Rouroni Kenshin, and Esacaflowne all have some meaning in it or make me think. As for stuff like Slayers or Love Hina, they just make me laugh right out loud. That's all I have to say about anime so here's some stuff about me.

      During my freetime, like many anime fans, I draw anime as well as watch it. I also love to go online and play Quake 3 Arena or Soldier of Fortune on the computer. Some of my favorite sports include of basketball, track and field, and weight training. Well that's about all I have to say about myself and hope you learned something about me.   - Sasami
