Hi, I'm Ataru, one of the reviewers for KIDS (as you may have figured). I go to UC Davis with Kiwi-san; in fact, I'm his roommate. There are two important things that I found out living with Kiwi-san: 1) Country music can wake me up instantaneously, and 2) Japanese animation rocks!

       I'm not really a connoisseur of anime, when I was younger I saw one with my friends and thus caused me to take Japanese as a foreign language during high school. After 3 years of Japanese class, the only two things I remember how to say in Japanese are "friend" and "pimp," which in my opinion are synonyms anyway. Actually, I do remember more; once in awhile Kiwi-san consults with me on the translation of certain terms found in anime.

       So, why would you want to listen to my reviews? After all, I hardly know anything about anime other than all the males have some sort of sexual or hormonal dysfunction (gay, perverted, excessively deep voices) and females tend to have legs nine feet tall and breasts bigger than my head. What was I saying? Oh yes, uh. . . well, you should read my reviews because I think they are snap judgements. It may sound bad, but if you aren't the patient type and want to know if something is cool or not, read my reviews.                 - Ataru
