Ryonosuke is just an average 14 year old teenager with an average life. That is, it was average until his father brings home an orphaned, beautiful, 19 year old girl named Atsuko (nicknamed Nuku Nuku) to live with them. It seems that Nuku Nuku’s parents were killed in an accident and she lost her memory. What Ryonosuke doesn’t know is that Nuku Nuku is an advanced military android created by Mishima Industries. Nuku Nuke escaped, and Mishima wants her back. They have assigned one of their top scientists the job of tracking down the android. That scientist just happens to be Ryonosuke’s mother. What will happen if she realizes that the android she is looking for is the orphan that her husband brought home? Nuku Nuku Dash is a well balanced TV series with action, comedy, drama, and a light romantic touch mixed in as well. - Toranpu |

| Comments | To be honest, I was amazed when I saw this anime. I am a big fan of the Nuku Nuku OAV series, and was expecting this to be similar. This is not the same silly Nuku Nuku that you are used to. This series has a much darker tone to it than any other Nuku Nuku. The story is also stronger and the characters are better as well. I don’t want to get too heavy because this show is a comedy, so don’t get scared off. There were times when I laughed until it hurt. I absolutely loved the flower girl episode, it was a riot. It’s just that Nuku Nuku Dash isn’t as silly or as bouncy as you might be expecting. I believe that this is the best Nuku Nuku series out of the ones that I have seen. If you want flat out silliness, try Nuku Nuku TV. If you are willing to try something with a slightly darker edge and a greatly superior story, then I strongly suggest that you give Nuku Nuku Dash a try. | ||
