Lina and
Naga are at it yet again. This time Lina has been hired to protect a kingdom
that is being attacked by an army of dragons. Sounds like a simple matter
of blowing up the opposition and collecting the money. The catch is that
the dragons belong to the land’s ruler and are being led against him by
his own daughter. How is Lina supposed to save the day when she can’t just
Dragon Slave the enemy into submission? To make matters even more complicated

| Comments | I LOVE SLAYERS!!! My only real complaint with this movie (and with all the Slayers movies and OAVs for that matter) is that Naga just doesn’t make up for the absence of Gourry, Amelia, Zelgadis, and Xellos. Not to say that Naga is not funny, just that having those four would be better. However, I digress. Lina is in great form in this movie. The level of frustration she hits when she isn’t allowed to directly fight her opponents is hilarious. There is lots of silliness scattered all through this movie. I absolutely loved the frog, I thought it was a riot (you’ll understand when you see it, or perhaps not, it’s probably just my sense of humor). All in all a good movie and a must see if you are a fan of Slayers. Even if you aren’t familiar with the series you’ll still get the vast majority of the jokes and this doesn’t have anything to do with the plot line of the TV show. | ||
