For countless years
a secret battle has been waged between the elemental forces of nature to
maintain order. People who wage this battle are called Elementors, as they
each can wield earth, wind, or fire magic. A distant time ago, a reaper
(a special human which can summon and enhance the powers of elemental wielders)
of the Water Clan unleashed her true power and threatened to destroy the
planet. Luckily, the Earth clan was able to subdue her and imprison her
in stasis.
Thus we meet our protagonist Kagura and his childhood friend Asami. When Asami is kidnapped by the Water clan leader Kagura is killed in the process. Or is he??? Somehow miraculously healing himself he vows to rescue Asami. Who is Kagura? Why does he wield such tremendous power? Will he save Asami? And what will happen if the water reaper reawakens again? | Comments | This is another one of those Anime shows that trys to cram too much info into too short a time. The premise of the show is nice and the drawings are nicely done, but the character's are so hollow. I could not emphathize with any of the characters and what seemed like a dramatic moment was a mere fleeting thought. People say that the manga is much better, and I do not doubt them because given the opportunity to develop the characters and more thoroughly explain the plot this would have been a excellent Anime show. Very reminiscent of X (no that's not a typo its X the show/movie!) Worth watching if you have some spare time and wanna see some action, but I would strongly emphasize SPARE time =) | ||
